It’s funny how we meet people through life. Some there is a link for life, others just pass in and out. One year ago today we lost a friend. He was one of those that the link was as strong as most of my family, shoot is some cases more.
We over the years fished a lot of rivers in the Northwest. From the Deschutes, to the Rogue Bay in Gold Beach. I’m sharing little here, he had cancer and in the end he was finding it hard to use his hands, to keep warm, and to do what he loved most, which was to fish. Even with all that against him he could out fish most, some how the guy knew where they were.
Well I thought it was only appropriate today to archive a thought about him. For those that knew him, let’s have a toast tonight. Heres to you Doug I hope your up there with a fish on, standing along a river bank with Brad, Carl, Greg, telling them how good fishing can be in this hole…:)
