The Siletz River is one of Oregons largest Salmon and Steelhead rivers, it is famous for its long estuary, stretching over 17 miles from the bay to reach of tide.
The waters of the Siletz River originate in the heart of Oregon’s coastal rainforest, draining over 700 square miles and flowing almost 80 miles to the ocean. The Siletz also boasts the only native run of summer steelhead on the Oregon Coast.
We fish the Siletz River early in the year, usually on one day trips. Our put in and take out will vary depending on the river and of course where the fish are. Winter Steelhead fishing can be superb, from Jan on in to May. Drift fishing is the most popular way to fish the Siletz, but all steelheading methods are effective.
If interested please contact us for available dates and rates. Dates may vary due to conditions of the river, but the fishing on the Siletz is almost always worth the trip.
